- Adults - CHF 80.00
- Children under 15 years - CHF 30.00
- Outside opening times - CHF 160.00 (+ 100%)
- Children under 15 years - (CHF 60.00)

- An Adult Identity Card is valid for 10 years.
- A Child Identity Card is valid for 3 years.

- The application for a Liechtenstein identity card must be from the 7th Age are made in person at the Immigration and Passport Office.
- The identity card can be given directly as a rule.
- Application Abroad:
- Liechtenstein nationals who are residing abroad can apply for an identity card to the competent Swiss representation. Liechtenstein agencies do not issue passports.
- Liechtenstein nationals who are residents in Switzerland must submit an identity card application at the Liechtenstein Embassy in Bern.
- In addition to the application stage for an identity card, it is also possible to make an application for a passport and an identity card to the competent Swiss representation simultaneously.

An Identity Card is a valid proof of identity for Liechtenstein nationals. The Liechtenstein nationals are required to carry them and display under certain circumstances.
Holders of a Liechtenstein identity card with a biometric chip can apply to use lisign, a service facilitating the use of electronic verification and signatures.

The identity card can be used at home and abroad as proof of identity, particularly within the Schengen area, unless other passes are required. In the identity map is the possibility of the electronic signature (lisign). Customers who want to use this service, receive an identification card with a chip, which is the basis for "lisign" (electronic identification and signature of the provincial administration).
