In Person

• Obtain the application form; fill in the application with all the details information
• Submit your application form along with all the required document
• Once your application is approved you will received a Registration certificate and registration notice

• The memorandum and articles of association
• Bank statement showing at least 10% of the capital to be invested
• Photo copy of identity card
• Photocopy of Document settlement Taxes
• Copy of document collection of tax paid
• Copy of notice and fixing tax notification

Instructions

Business certificate is issued by Chamber of Commerce so if you would like to obtain certificate for your business go to their office Bandong Street, Tripoli Libya or to nearby branch country wide.

Required Information

• Full name
• Address
• Citizenship
• Commercial activities to be carried out
• Payment of 150LYD for application for registration
• Full name of the business and trade mark if applicable

Need for the Document

Business must be registered for it to obtain legal personality. It gives the individual enterprise rights and obligations necessary or appropriate in conducting business transactions, with the exception of course of those forbidden to it by law.

In Libya any business to be recognized by the Government must be registered and issued a certificate of legal entity.

• Registration or application forms are available in two (2) languages, and therefore you are advised to fill the form in the language you understand best in order to avoid errors
• A TIN is offered free of charge
