Liberia - Obtain a Tax Identification Number

Application for a Tax Identification Number (TIN) in the process of registering company / business with the Liberia Business Registry(LBR) and the process is as below:-
1.The applicant starts by finding a suitable and unique name for his / her company.
- This is done by making a search at the Business Registry (LBR) helpdesk for suggested names to see if they are available. If found available, name can then be reserved.
2.After reserving name, the applicant can proceed with the registration process.
- In this case, the applicant submits an application for company registration to the Liberia Business Registry (LBR) office.
- The SUBMITTED application includes several documents that include a form for registration by the tax authority (Information for TAX authority Form Q);
3.After submission of application, the officers at the Liberia Business Registry (LBR) office review and assess submitted documents;
4.If the application is ok, officer then requests the Tax Identification Number (TIN) from the Ministry of Finance on behalf of the entrepreneur;
