How to Apply

  1. Applicants should then visit the LESOTHO NURSING COUNCIL (LNC) office and collect the application form or click the link below to download,Link (certificate of registration LNC application form)
  2. You should then visit the C.T. POOPA CONSULTING ATTORNEY & NOTARY PUBLIC office with your passport/ID card, certificate of registration and education certificate (original and copy) and have them certified at a fee of 5 LSL per copy.
  3. Visit the Standard Lesotho Bank, customer service office and make payment of the registration fee, upon which you will be issued with a confirmation of cash deposit receipt.
  4. Re-visit the LNC office and submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) to the registrar office for verification and processing.
  5. If the documents or application form has an issue, it will be return back to you for corrections.
  6. If the registrant is satisfied that all the documents are in order, you will be booked for a licensure examination which are conducted once on the following months March, July, September and November. The examination feedback is given after a month.
  7. Applicants who have pass their licensure exams are required to pay for the registration certificate fee at the Standard Lesotho Bank, customer service office, upon which you will be issued with a bank confirmation of cash deposit receipt.
  8. Visit the LNC office and submit the bank payment receipt at the LNC Account department, to be verified and obtain the registration certificate.

  • Curriculum vitae (original)
  • Academic transcripts from the schools of nursing attended, posted directly to council (original)
  • Certificate of good standing (original) verification from your nursing council to the effect that you are still registered
  • Certified Educational certificate (original and copy) Degrees/ Diplomas/ Certificates.
  • Valid current of Certificate of registration current (original and copy)
  • Certified passport/ID card (original and copy)
  • 3 passport size photo with name and signature on the back
  • Bank confirmation of cash deposit receipt
