Procedure

Change Registered Company Name On-line

1. To change the name of the company which you have already registered on-line, please use the following link : Change Company Name
2. Click on the logon option, if you have a uername and password already or if you are new user you can register yourself.
3. Before you change your company name, you will have to reserve your name company name. For reserving a company name use the above provided link and follow the below mentioned steps.
   • Click on Online Services and select Reserve a Name
   • Click on Submit
   • Pay fees - Prescribed fee name reservation of M30
4. After reservation od new company name, you will have to submit the notice of change by following the below mentioned steps.
   • Click on Online Services and select Companies Register from the link provided in step 1.
   • Enter the Company Name and select from search results.
   • Click on Maintain Company Name.
   • Complete details as required.
   • Provide the following documentation:
     • Newspaper Advertisements / Proof of Radio Announcements
5. Click on Submit
6. Pay fees - Prescribed fee for Notice of Change of Company Name M50
7. Your application will be sent to staff to review. Once approved a Certificate of Incorporation will be emailed to you confirming registration.
   
   

Change Registered Company Name In-Person

1. Approach the office location which is provided under the Office Locations & Contacts of this page.
2. Submit proposed name and fee of M30.
3. Complete Form 20 Notice of Change of Company Name.
4. Provide copies of the Newspaper Advertisements / Proof of Radio Announcements.
5. Prescribed fee for Notice of Change of Company Name M50.
6. A Certificate of Incorporation confirming registration will either be posted to you or available to be picked up.
   • Completed Application form
   • Submit old certificate of incorporation
   • Submit proposed name
