Procedure

1. To obtain a Free Trade Certificate for Medicinal Products the applicant has to contact the State Agency of Medicines.
2. The applications can be made in-person or by post.
3. A completed application form along with the registered medicinal product should be submitted to the authorities to be examined.

Eligibility

• Free trade certificate is issued for the same type of product (in Latvian and English). If one medicinal product has different strengths, they shall be considered as one type of product.
  
  

Note : If one medicinal product has different formulations (such as tablets, the solution), a separate application shall be submitted for each pharmaceutical form and issue a separate free trade certificate.
