Ways to apply for the parking card:

  • The applicant can apply for the parking card personally.
  • The applicant may also authorize somebody to apply for the parking card on his/her behalf. The authorization must be in writing and must be presented in addition to the disabled person's identity card or LR license. Notarization of the power of attorney is not mandatory.
  • The disabled person's guardian may apply on behalf of his/her ward. The guardian's presentation of a certificate or other document proving guardianship and disability identity card or driving license, LR, is necessary to complete the process.

Required DocumentsEdit

  • SMCEHWA statement. The SMCEHWA certificate must be issued 2 months ago or earlier from the time the application was submitted. Presenting the certificate is no longer necessary if the information regarding the applicant's medical condition is available at SSIA database.
  • Group I, disabled person's license if the person is visually impaired (Group I)
  • One photo (3 x 4 cm)


Note: Same requirements are submitted if you would like to renew or replace your lost, stolen or damaged card.

EligibilityEdit

Parking Card for People with Disability shall be issued to:

  • Those who have been granted Health and Work Ability Expertise Commission statement on the medical indication for the determination of a specially adapted car purchase and Transport allowance receipt (hereinafter - SMCEHWA certificate)
  • Visually impaired individuals belonging to Group I.



FeesEdit

Fee paid to obtain the disability parking card: 0.61 / EUR 0.86


Payment can be made in cash to RTA or any bank.
