Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN), the applicant has to make the application online via the following link
2. Scroll down to the “Farmers Corner” and click on the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option.
3. The “New Farmer Registration Form” page will open. The registration page will verify if the farmer is already registered on the portal.
4. For verification, the farmer has to select the ‘Rural Farmer Registration’ or ‘Urban Farmer Registration’ option and enter the Aadhar Number, select the state from the drop-down list, enter the captcha and click on the “Get OTP” button.
5. After entering OTP, the registration form will open where the farmer has to enter the personal and banking details and click on the “save” button.
6. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. Review the application and click “submit”
8. A pop -up will display the successful submission of application. Take a printout of the applicant’s registration form for future reference.
9. The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
10. After submitting the PM-Kisan application online on the PM-Kisan Portal, farmers can check the status of their registration by using the following link
11. Scroll down to the “Farmers Corner” and click on the “Status of Self Registered/CSC Farmers” option.
12. Enter the “Aadhaar Number”, “Image code” (Captcha code) and click on the “Search” button. The status of the submitted registration application will be displayed.
13. The entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply through App:

1. To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN), the applicant has to install the PM Kisan app using the following link
2. Open the PMKISAN mobile app, choose the language from the list and click on the “New Farmer Registration” button.
3. Enter your Aadhaar card number, Captcha and click on the “Continue” button.
4. Fill out the registration form with the details like the name, bank details, address, IFSC Code, land details, etc., and click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the registration.
5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Review the application and click “submit”
7. A pop -up will display the successful submission of application. Take a printout of the applicant’s registration form for future reference.

Apply Through CSC:

1. To Apply for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN), the applicant has to approach the respective “CSC” centre link

   Note: The applicant has to select state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.

2. Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for the applicant’s requirement.
3. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
4. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
5. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as an acknowledgment. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
6. Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
7. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
8. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
9. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
10. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the Bank Account.
11. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.

Eligibility

• All landholder farmers’ families are eligible to obtain the benefits. The landholder farmers’ family is defined under the scheme guidelines as a family consisting of a husband, wife and minor children who own cultivable land as per the land records of the respective state or UT. The existing land ownership system is used for identifying the beneficiaries.
