Apply for Beauty Salon License, the applicant has to obtain Trade License from their respective state municipal corporation.
Apply Online
- To Apply for Beauty Salon License, the applicant has to make the application online via link
- The applicant has to enter all the details for a trading license.
- Also, the applicant has to upload the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page. Click the “Submit” button.
- After completing successfully, the applicant will get the message through the registered mobile number.
- Pay the fee online mode and click the “Submit” button.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- This application will be moved to the respective authority of the Zone for field verification of the site.
- After field verification, the authority will submit a verification report before the trade license committee.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant has to visit the office and pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
- Upon successful completion, the applicant can get the license from the office.
- The entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- To Apply for Beauty Salon License, the applicant has to approach the State Municipal Corporation link
- Register the applicant’s beauty salon as a legal entity, such as a proprietorship, partnership, or private limited company, depending on the applicant’s business structure. This step is important for fulfilling legal and tax obligations.
- Find a suitable location for the applicant’s beauty salon that complies with zoning and safety regulations.
- Ensure the premises have adequate infrastructure, including proper water supply, ventilation, sanitation facilities, and compliance with fire safety norms.
- Depending on the location, the applicant may need additional permits such as a Fire Safety Certificate, Pollution Control Board clearance, and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the local municipal corporation.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
- The fee to apply for a Local Candidate Certificate in India is INR 35.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- The authorities may conduct an inspection of the salon premises to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- If the application and inspection are successful, the applicant will receive the Beauty Salon License. The license will specify the conditions and regulations the applicant needs to adhere to while operating his/her salon.
- The entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
