Procedure

1. Make sure that you are eligible to apply for the procedure.
2. Gather all necessary documents.
3. Submit your application along with all other required documents.
4. Pay the application fee.

Required Documents

• Valid passport
• Certificate stating that the applicant has not been convicted of any offense by the Court of the Republic of Kosovo
• Proof of marriage
• Document that can prove that the applicant is not under investigation by the Kosovo Police.
• Proof of financial means for living
• Health insurance
• Evidence for housing
• Tax certificate not older than three months. (This document is issued by the Tax Administration-Regional Office)

Eligibility

• Those who have five (5) years of uninterrupted temporary residence in Kosovo.
• Those who have been married to a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo or to a foreigner with a permanent residence permit for three (3) years.
• Minors temporarily staying in the Republic of Kosovo can apply to be a permanent resident, if one of the minors' parents is a foreigner with permission permanent residence and the other parent has given his/her consent.

Fees

• If the permit will be used for employment purposes: 100 Euro
• For Family Unification: 70 Euro
• To replace a lost or damaged permit: 10 Euro

Validity
