Kiribati - Apply for Permit to Enter and Reside in Kiribati

If you are planning to enter and reside in Kiribati in order to work, set up a business, study, research or for any other reason. You will need to obtain a permit first. Entering Kiribati without a permit is against the law and you may be asked to pay a heavy penalty for that.
To apply for a permit to enter and reside in Kiribati, please follow these steps:
- A downloadable copy of the Application form is available on Ministry of Foreign Affairs' website. A link can be found under 'Documents to Use' section. Download and complete the application form. You may also obtain a copy of the for at the Immigration Office.
Each person applying for a permit to enter and reside must make a separate application, except children under 16 years of age. For those under the age of 16, their application will be included in their parent's or guardian's application. - Prepare all the required documents you will need to submit together with the completed application form. Please the list provided under 'Required Documents' Section.
- Pay the application fee of $150.00.
- If you have any question please contact the Immigration Division (contact info provided below). The Immigration Officer will guide you through email communication.

STUDY PERMIT
