Apply In-Person:

  1. To register as an employer with the employment exchange, the applicant shall visit the district employment exchange office. Please tap on the following link for contact details: [1].
  2. Please go to the office and consult with the “District Employment Officer” / designated authority for employer registration applying procedure.
  3. Complete the application form. Attach all the required documents as per our “Required Documents” section and submit the application set to the designated receiving authority.
  4. On receipt of the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted or processed electronically then and there as applicable.
  5. Please follow the authority’s guidelines to complete the applying process.
  6. Authorities will give a probable timeline for approval of this registration.
  7. This application will be processed further for approval.
  8. The applicant will get an update about the progress of his/her application through SMS in their registered mobile number. Applicants are advised to follow the department guidelines to get the approval.
  9. Once approved, the status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS or as per applicable norms.
  10. The applicant shall follow the department notification to become a registered employee with employment exchange.
  11. Please revisit the office where application is made for further endeavours.



Apply online:

  1. The applicant should visit the following link for NCS: link.
  2. In the given page, please select “New User? Sign Up” tab under “Login” session as provided on the right part of the screen to reach the next page.
  3. Here please select “jobseeker” from the drop down menu against the “Register As” option to get the registration page.
  4. Please complete the page prompts with appropriate details. After completing the form with details, complete the prompts for education followed by a UID identification step.
  5. Applicants will have to select Job preference skills and then hit the respective tab to receive OTP through Mobile.
  6. To complete, enter the OTP to be a verified user and login using the credentials.
  7. Now users can view /update their profile, search for jobs etc.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  4. The operator will process the application online.
  5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  6. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  7. If verified, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying in a stipulated period of time.

EligibilityEdit

  • Any person to be eligible for registration in an Employment Exchange has to be not less than 14 years of age at the time of registration and not more than 45 years of age as on the 1st July of the year of registration.
  • All educated aspirants 8th, 10th, 12th, Graduate, Under graduate, International Graduate can register in Employment Exchange.
  • Discontinued students are not eligible for employment(but previous qualification can be used as eligibility to register in employment exchange).

ValidityEdit

If you register your education qualification with the employment exchange it is valid for three years. Once in every three years you need to renew Employment registration.

  1. There are 2 types of employment exchanges Professional and Executive. You can register with both depending upon your qualifications.
  2. A candidate can register his name only in the Employment Exchange, under the jurisdiction of which he normally resides

Need for the DocumentEdit

The employment exchange registration for the state of Kerala is an important process for those candidates who wish to register themselves for Government job opportunities offered by the Government of Kerala state.

The employers can take a list of candidates possessing required qualification. They can post the vacancies. The job seekers can renew his or her registration, experience and contact information can be added. The general public can get the general details and respond to the vacancies posted by the employers.



Information which might helpEdit

Addition of Qualification Qualifications achieved after registering the name in the Employment Exchange can be added to the registration record as and when it is acquired. The selection from the Employment Exchange is based on the seniority on first come first served basis. So it is desirable to add the certificate as soon as they are obtained to gain maximum possible seniority. Renew Registration The registration is valid for a period of 3 years. The registrants are to renew their registration in the renewal month of the 3rd year of registration to save it from being cancelled. However they are normally given a grace period of 2 months. The Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates are given a grace period of one year. The Physically Handicapped candidates shall be intimated of the date on which the registration lapses.

As per the existing rules the candidates may appear in person or by messenger at the Employment Exchange with the identity card for the renewal of registration. The candidates can renew the registration by post as well. For this they should send reply paid post card incorporating the details of registration in the card. They should not however send their original registration card by post.

When the facility for online renewal is implemented in future, the registrant can renew the registration from a computer anywhere that has an internet connection and can take the printout of the renewed identity card.

Transfer Of Registration The Employment officer is empowered to verify and effect the transfer. The candidate should submit a request specifying the reason for transfer along with the identity card and proof of the change of residence to the Employment officer of the exchange where he registered his name, if the transfer is with in the state. If the request is for transfer outside Kerala only an application is sufficient along with the surrender of registration identity card.
