Kerala - Online Obtain Hazardous Waste License or Permit


Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for obtaining hazardous waste license or permit
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : If you already have an Industry registration, click the “Industry login” radio button in User login tab and enter the user details, click “Login” button. Else, make a new registration by clicking on “New Industry Registration” button in the “User Login” section. Refer the below images where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 4 : Select “Industries Establishment” radio button. Fill all the fields and click “Next” button. Then complete “Occupier Details” and click on “Submit” button. Refer the below images where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 5 : Registration details will appear, click on “Print” and save the details for later use. Or the details will be displayed on the top of the screen, note it down. Then, click “Home” tab at the left side of the page to login. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 6 : Click on “Industry login” radio button and enter the Username and Password. Then click “Login” tab. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 7 : After logging in, you will have to change the existing password with a new one by clicking “update” tab and then log in again using the Username and changed password. Refer the below image where the option is highlighted in RED.

Step 8 : In the homepage, click on “Waste Management” tab at the top of the page and it is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 9 : Now click on “Apply Authorization” menu at the left side of the page. Then click “Hazardeous Waste” option. Refer the below image where the option is highlighted in RED.

Step 10 : Complete “General Details” section with valid information. Choose the authorization as applicable. Then choose “Completed” option and click “Save” tab. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 11 : Now click “Documents” section. Then click “Upload” hyperlink. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 12 : Upload all the mandatory documents and click “Save” tab which is highlighted in RED.

Step 13 : After uploading process, click “Exit” tab which is highlighted in RED.

Step 14 : Then choose “Completed” option and click “Save” tab. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

Step 15 : Now the details will be added successfully. Please note the application number. Keep it safe for future reference.

Step 16 : After successful submission of the application, it will be taken to the glance of District Environmental Engineer (DEE) for verification and further processes. If the DEE finds any mistake in the application or documents attached, it will be returned to the industry and the industry can find it in the “Completed Application” tab in the OCMMS module.
Step 17 : And if the authorization has been sanctioned, the User can view and download the certificate.
