Applying from Health facilities

  1. Visit your nearest Government Health Facility in the County you are in to make the application for a medical certificate of good health.
  2. Here you will be undergo a series of tests before being issued a certificate of good health in Kenya.
  3. You are supposed to pay the prescribed fee of Ksh. 700 before the examinations.
  4. The following tests are carried during the examinations.
    (i). Eye test
    (ii). Hearing test
    (iii). Inspecting for a contagious bacterial/ viral infection in the blood and stool.
  5. Once adequately convinced that the individual has a clean bill of health in Kenya, he is issued with the certificate of good health.

Applying from county council offices

  1. Visit the County Council Offices or City Hall in Nairobi to obtain a medical certificate of good health.
  2. Here you will be directed to the heath offices to undergo a series of tests before being issued a certificate of good health in Kenya.
  3. You are supposed to pay the prescribed fee of Ksh. 700 before the examinations.
  4. The following tests are carried during the examinations.
    (i). Eye test
    (ii). Hearing test
    (iii). Inspecting for a contagious bacterial/ viral infection in the blood and stool .
  5. Once adequately convinced that the individual has a clean bill of health in Kenya, he is issued with the certificate of good health.
