Procedure

Apply online:

1. To Apply to get Employee (Job) Verification, the applicant has to use the following link – link
2. If the applicant is a new user click the “Register HERE” button.
3. The applicant has to enter the Aadhar number in the newly opened page.
4. The applicant will get the OTP from the registered mobile number.
5. The applicant has to enter the OTP number and click the “Allow” button.
6. The applicant has to enter all the Email ID, Password, Phone number and click the “Submit” button.
7. Now, the applicant has to login and click the “LOGIN IN”.
8. The applicant has to select the respective department and the applying certificate.
9. Enter all the details in the application form.
10. Make sure that the applicant has to upload all the necessary documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
11. Fee for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
12. After completion of all the process, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
13. Once the verification process gets completed by the respective officer.
14. The applicant has to visit the commissioner office for enquiry for the employee verification.
15. The applicant will know the further details by visiting the office.
16. The processing time for this procedure is up to 20 days.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for an employee verification in Karnataka, Purchase the Application form from the nearest Karnataka One Centre for Rs.10 One Center Locator.
2. Visit Karnataka One Centre and get the application form.
3. Write the S.No.: 1 or 2 whichever is relevant to your verification Purpose.
4. Fill the required details and attach a Passport size Photo and Duly sign the form.
5. Attach a photocopy of the required Id Proof.
6. Pay the required Processing fee at Karnataka One Centre.
7. Print the Receipt and attach with the Application Form.
8. Submit the form at the Commissioner’s Office at the specific counter for Employee Verification.
9. Receive the acknowledgement receipt and keep it safe for further reference.
10. Visit the Commissioner’s office to enquire about status of the application.
11. Collect the report from the Commissioner’s Office once it is ready.

Eligibility

• Anyone from Karnataka who wants to verify an employee.
• The Employee should be 18 years and above.

Fees

• Rs.300 + Convenience Fee - Police Verification Certificate (PVC/PCC) for Job Purpose to MNCs/Private Sector/ Corporate & other companies ANTECEDENTS VERIFICATION ONLY (as per police station records).
• Rs.1000 + Convenience Fee - Police Verification Certificate (PVC/PCC) for Job Purpose to MNCs/Private Sector/ Corporate/ & other companies ANTECEDENTS VERIFICATION along with ADDRESS VERIFICATION amount to be paid by the company.

Validity

• There is no validity period for a Police Verification Certificate.
• It solely depends on the person/authority accepting the Police Verification Certificate.
• The certificate stands null and void in case the employee indulges in any criminal activities.

• While hiring a person, it is highly advisable to verify the antecedent of the person with police before employing them.
• This verification also helps you know if any criminal records were registered against the person hired and if he/she has a shady character.

• This protects the employee from involving in any criminal activities in the near future.
