Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To obtain a Property Possession Certificate in Karnataka the applicant has to approach the Bangalore development authority.

3. The applicant should get the application form from the Concerned Department Authorities.
4. Fill the application with the Required details.
5. Now attach the required documents mentioned and submit the application to the concerned Officer in the department.
6. Once the documents are submitted you will be provided with an acknowledgement, please keep it safe for future reference.
7. It may take 7 days to process the application form.
8. After processing your request, field verification will be done by the RDO or tahsildar or respective authorities.
9. They notify you through e-mail or by SMS to collect the Property Possession Certificate when it’s ready.
10. They will ask you to sign in a register for the collection of Property Possession Certificate

1. To apply for a Property Possession Certificate, the applicant has to use the following link provided : link
2. Now click on the “Sometimes Online Service” tab.
3. Now click on the “Bangalore Development Authority” tab.
4. Now look for the section “Service Under Sakala” and click on the highlighted sentence “Apply Online Possession Certificate Under Sakala”.
5. You will be taken to a new page of “SevaSindhu” portal.
6. Now Click the “Bangalore Development Authority” tab and proceed to click on the “Application for possession Certificate for sites” tab.
7. Now you will be able to see the Eligibility and Required documents for making the application.
8. After reading and understanding the Eligibility and Required documents listed click “Apply Online” this will ask you to enter your mobile number and it will send a “OTP” to your mobile in SMS.
9. Enter the One-time password you get and click the” Submit” button.
10. Now fill the provided application form and upload the required documents appropriately.
11. After completion, please submit the application, the authorities will verify your application and if they are satisfied with the application and documents a field verification will be done by the RDO or tahsildar or respective authorities.
12. After that the Property Possession Certificate will be provided.
