Apply Online:

  1. To Apply NOC (No Objection Certificate) for Road Cutting (Permission), the applicant has to use the following link – link
  2. If the applicant is a new user click the “Register HERE” button.
  3. The applicant has to enter the Aadhar number in the newly opened page.
  4. The applicant will get the OTP from the registered mobile number.
  5. The applicant has to enter the OTP number and click the “Allow” button.
  6. The applicant has to enter all the Email ID, Password, Phone number and click the “Submit” button.
  7. Now, the applicant has to login and click the “LOGIN IN”.
  8. The applicant has to select the respective department and the applying certificate.
  9. Enter all the details in the application form.
  10. Make sure that the applicant has to upload all the necessary documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  11. After completion, the applicant has to click the “Submit” button.
  12. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  13. Once the verification process gets completed by the respective officer.
  14. The applicant gets the notification through mail or SMS.
  15. The applicant will get the permission and for further details, please contact the department office.
  16. The processing time for this procedure is within 30 days.


Apply In-Person:

  1. Application for NOC for Road Cutting in Karnataka the applicant has to approach Karnataka Road Development Corporation contact link link or the applicant can approach Public Work Department link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
  4. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing the procedure.
  5. Documents that are needed for completing the procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Fees is calculated as – Utilized NH Land * Prevailing circle rate per square unit area/10*12 (Rs/sq ft/month).
  7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be accepted by concerned authorities.
  8. The application will be put up for any objection from public domains for 30 days.
  9. If there is no objection from any domain within 30 days, applicant will be called by concerned officials to collect their NOC certificate from the office.
  10. If there are no updates about application, applicant can reach the office to know status of their application.

The NOC is valid until the project gets over with. For another project, new NOC should be applied.

  • This NOC helps an individual or an organization to carry on their project legally without any damage to the petroleum, oil or water lines that are underground.
  • The road cutting project cannot be carried out for 3 months during monsoon seasons and for 15 days prior to any local festival.
