Procedure

1. Submit your request to obtain a copy of a marriage certificate to the Department of Civil Status and Passports Office.
2. To make the search for the marriage record much easier, make sure that your able to provide these following information:
   1. name of spouses
   2. date of marriage
3. Do not forget to bring a valid identification, you may be asked to present this to confirm your identity and to make sure that you have the right to obtain a copy of the marriage certificate.
4. You may be asked to present additional documents or information when you apply, you may use the contact information given below to get in touch with the Department of Civil Status and Passports to know more details.
5. Pay for the certificate.
