Jordan - Obtain License to Open Branch of Existing Company

Procedure

1. The company administrator must obtain and fill out the service request and submit it to the Bureau of Public Service after he presents a review card.
2. Submit applications in the bureau of the ministry, request is then transmitted with all the documents to the Directorate of Road Freight Transport.
3. The related authorities will validate the documents that have been submitted and visit the location of the place that is to be used. The visit by the officials is to make sure the place complies with all the standards and requirements as defined by the ministry.
4. Once the validation is successful the minister would approve for a license after validating the data presented and discussion with authorities.
5. If the minister approves the applicant has to pay a license fee.

Required Documents

• Official written request of the company applying for the license
• A copy of the license granted by the Ministry to the company
• Service application form duly filled
• National ID card with a degree of not less than public secondary school certificate for the branch manager.
• Ownership deed or certified lease contract of the branch office to be licensed, provided that the office area is not less than (50) square meters and is equipped with telephone, fax and the title sign.

Fees

1. Fifty (50) JOD fees of Branch licensing fee for the first time.
2. Thirty (30) JOD for the physical inspection.
3. Two hundred (200) piaster inward stamps.
