Procedure

1. Fill out the application form and attach all required documents.
2. Take a queuing card from the counter where this service is available.
3. Submit the application to the passport office to be legally audited.
4. When adding minors under the age of 16 then it is required that the passports is valid and one of the parents must be present.
5. If a minor (less than sixteen years) has his own independent Jordanian passport, he can still be added to a parent's passport at the request of either one of them and the written consent of the father and the abolition of the independent passport.
6. For those who own Palestinian or Israeli cards, minors must be added on these cards before being added on passports.
7. Attach photos individually for each child (2 copies) to be added to the passport.
8. Pay the legal fees.
9. Forward the application to the data entry employee to insert the new information.
10. Attach passport with the request for printing.
11. Forward the ready passports to the delivery employee to be given to the citizens.

Children of a Jordanian passport owner.

Fees

• for endorsement: 5 JOD
• per child added to the permanent passport: 5 JOD
• per child added to the temporary passport: 10 JOD

Instructions

• Lower the age of the children to be added on passports of validity of five years to become (11) years old or younger.
• Lower the age of the children to be added on passports of validity of 2 years to become (14) years old or younger.
• In cases of extension passports of validity of 5 years are not extended until after making sure that the ages of the children does not exceed (11) years. In case they do then a separate passport must be issued.
• In cases of extension passports of validity of 2 years are not extended until after making sure that the ages of the children does not exceed (14) years. In case they do then a separate passport must be issued.
