Jharkhand - Register as Employer with Employment Exchange

Apply In-Person:

  1. To register as employer with employment exchange, applicant shall visit the district employment exchange office.

  3. Please go to the office and consult with the “District Employment Officer” / designated authority for employer registration applying procedure.
  4. If apply through offline mode is available, please collect the relevant application form from the authority or write on a plain A4 sheet / on the company letter head as advised.
  5. Complete the application form. Attach all the required documents as per our “Required Documents” section and submit the application set to the designated receiving authority.
  6. On receipt of the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted or processed electronically then and there as applicable.
  7. Please follow the authority’s guidelines to complete the applying process.
  8. Authorities will give a probable timeline for approval of this registration.
  9. This application will be processed further for approval.
  10. Applicant will get update about the progress of his/her application through SMS in their registered mobile number. Applicants are advised to follow the department guidelines to get the approval.
  11. Once approved, the status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS or as per applicable norms.
  12. Applicant shall follow the department notification to become a registered employee with employment exchange.
  13. Please revisit the office where application is made for further endeavours.


Apply online through State portal

  1. To register, please visit the online portal: Online portal for ‘Employer Registration’
  2. In the home page please select “New Employer” menu and choose “Employer (Government)” or “(Employer (Non Govt.)” option to reach “Employer Registration” page.
  3. Here, please select “From Jharkhand State” or “From Outside of Jharkhand State” as applicable and continue to fill the details as per prompt for “Organization Information”, “Organisation Address for Communication” and “Contact Person Information” sections as appropriate.
  4. User should upload required documents using the “Choose File” button under “Required Documents” section and click “Submit” button and follow the on screen information.
  5. A system generated “User id” and “Password” may be forwarded to your registered email and mobile number.
  6. Employer can log in and view/update their profile but cannot use the other functionality until their registration is authenticated after verification by the respective department.
  7. This request for registration will be directed to the concerned District employment office or the designated authority office for further processing.
  8. ”SMS” triggered update on registration will be sent to the applicant’s mobile.
  9. Please follow department’s notification and respond accordingly.
  10. On successful processing, the approval of the employer registration will be given by the concerned District employment office through notification.
  11. Once the approval is granted, Employer can revisit the online portal and use login credentials to log in and explore the requirements.


Apply Online - Employer Online Registration Through National Career Service (NCS):

  1. To access the “National Career Service (NCS)” portal please use the following link: online portal link
  2. In the given page, please select “New User? Sign Up” button under “Login” session provided on the right part of the screen to reach next page.
  3. Here please select “Employer” from the dropdown menu against “Register As*” option to get set of registration prompts.
  4. Please complete the page prompts with appropriate details including organization type, organization category, Registered office address, other communication details etc…
  5. Once all the details are filled, please click the checkbox for “I Agree to Terms and Condition” declaration and hit the “Submit” button at the bottom to get “Registration Status” page.
  6. In this “Registration Status” page a “User NSC ID” will be provided as acknowledgement. Please save it for future reference.
  7. Also, an OTP will be sent to applicant’s mobile number and also to email ID provided while registering.
  8. Please enter the received “OTP’s” at the prompted space respectively and click “Verify” button as appropriate.
  9. Once the OTP verification is done, applicant shall click the “Submit” button to create their account.
  10. A “Registration Verification” pop up will be provided. Here please use the ‘here’ hyperlink in “Click here to login” to reach the log in page.
  11. Employer can log in and view/update their profile but cannot use the other functionality until their PAN number is verified.
  12. This registration request will be directed to the concerned department for further processing.
  13. ”SMS” triggered update on registration will be sent to the applicant’s mobile.
  14. Please follow department’s notification and respond accordingly.
  15. On successful processing, the approval of the employer registration will be informed through notification along with account details.
  16. Once the approval given, Employer can revisit the online portal and use login credentials at prompted space and click “Sign In” button to log in to explore the requirements.

  • A registered firm (placement agencies) is eligible to apply for registration.
  • Employer having 25 employees (or the number fixed as per respective State) working with them is eligible to apply for registration.
  • Employers throughout the country can register


FeesEdit

  • Please pay the applicable fees while applying as per requirement.
Note: No employer / placement agency can demand any kind of fee or Service Charge or Training cost from anyone in the list of job-seekers which it obtained from Employment exchange.

  • The registration is valid forever or till the government makes any changes in registration norms.

  • This registration can be completed on the same day. But, authentication to make use of all the facility requires sanction from department which usually takes one week.

InstructionsEdit

  • The registered employers / placement agencies should not post or submit any incomplete, false or inaccurate information.
  • Vacancies, required to be notified to the local employment exchange, at least 15 days before the date on which applicants will be interviewed or tested.
  • An employer shall furnish to the concerned Employment Exchange, the results of selection with in 15 day from the date of selection.
  • If any employer/company is registered more than once, then it is the duty of the company to check the details and request the Directorate of Employment to delete all duplicate registrations but keep only the original one.
  • Do not submit fake documents as a proof to get registered.
  • Incomplete application will be rejected.
  • Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
