Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. A person desirous of making a complaint about water quality in Jharkhand must visit the Jharkhand Pollution Control Office or Municipal office. Then, click on the following link to find the contact details of each district link.
2. Write down the complaint in a detailed manner on white paper. Fill in your name, contact details, address and duration of issue. Attach documents or pictures of proof, if any.
3. Submit the letter to the pollution control officer.
4. The officer will issue a receipt for further reference.
5. No fee is required for this procedure.
6. The time limit for each complaint varies according to the credibility and importance of the complaint.
7. Any step taken towards the complaint will be notified via Email/SMS/Letter.

1. A person desirous of making a complaint about the water quality in Jharkhand must visit the Pollution Control Board website link.
2. On the homepage, click the “Helpdesk” button available at the bottom of the page.
3. On the new page, fill in your Name, contact details, and select Pollution category. Then, enter your complaint in detail and click the “Submit” button.
4. Once the application is submitted successfully, an application/complaint number will be generated.
5. Any steps taken towards the complaint will be notified through SMS or Email.
