To Change Biometrics information for Driver License in Jharkhand the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.

Apply in writing in a white A4 paper
The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying by reading through the eligibility criteria that has been listed out under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
Present the completed application forms in one of the counter along with required documents. Pay fess as advised by the counter staff (mostly there won’t be no fees required for this) where the officials would start processing your application.
After verifying the documents submitted, applicant will be asked for taking photograph, Finger impression process and signing on the digital medium to make necessary changes.

Apply Online - Jharkhand Change biometrics in driver license online with Images

First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online.
In order to apply for online, please follow the link : online portal
Please select "Online Services" from the menu and click on "Driver License Related Services".
You will be taken to a new screen where you have to select “Jharkhand” in the drop down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”.
In the next window, please click “Apply Online” to select “Services on Driving License” option
In the new screen select “Jharkhand” from drop down menu and please hit “Continue”
Please select / enter appropriate option and fill in information prompted for, then click “Proceed” to get the new page to apply online by filling the details prompted and upload required documents to process the application further.
Once all the required actions are done, please take printout of Acknowledgement

Valid Driver License
Proof of Address (Any one of the following)
- Ration Card, Voter identity card, Pay slip issued by any office of the central government or a state government; Electricity bill, Telephone bill, House tax receipt showing the name of the name of the applicant
- You can also use your Aadhar Card as proof of residence.
Proof of name change as issued by government gazette (In case of name change)
