Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to severe and multi-disabled persons who are living below poverty line.
Apply In-Person:
Swami Vivekananda Nishakt Swalamban Protsahan Yojna State government scheme

  1. To apply for this scheme, the eligible person has to submit two copies of duly filled application form along with required documents to the concerned Anganwadi centre or panchayats or ICDS Or Circle Officer in Rural level and to Sub-Divisional Officer At Urban level

  3. Obtain the application form from the respective counter OR write on a plain paper.
  4. This submitted application will be processed further for approval.
  5. Following the approval, the approval letter is dispatched to the respective Post Office of the applicant or bank, where a savings account is opened in the name of the beneficiary for making the payments.
  6. In case of rejection of application, the applicant is duly informed.



Apply Online:

  1. To Apply for State Disability Pension, the applicant shall visit the website in the link provided:Link
  2. The applicant shall log in through the web portal mentioned under the "Login" option and provide the required information for the process.
  3. After login, the applicant shall choose an appropriate option to obtain the pension and proceed further.
  4. The applicant shall fill up the application form with all the necessary details on a newly opened page and complete the given application form.
  5. Now the applicant shall upload scanned copies of all the "Required Documents" for further processing.
  6. Once the documents are uploaded, provide the mobile number and enter the received OTP.
  7. Now click on "Submit" and complete the process.
  8. On successful verification, the pension will be issued by the authority.
  9. Obtain the pension from the concerned office or the portal.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To Apply for State Disability Pension in Jharkhand, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
  2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the card.
  3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
  4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
  5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
  6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

  • Signature/Thumb impression of the patient countersigned by the Medial Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital (with seal)
  • Proof of Age
  • Recent attested photograph showing the disability affixed here.

  • Three passport size photographs of the applicant.
  • Aadhaar card.
  • Bank account details
  • Mobile number.
  • Passport size photograph of applicant (please take 5 copies).
  • Any other document to claim benefits offered by respective state government as advised by authorities.

EligibilityEdit

  • He/she should be a resident of State
  • His/her age should be more than 5 years.
  • His/her is not getting pension under state or central government scheme.
  • He/she should be in the category of a disabled person as defined in Section 2 of Disabled Persons (equal opportunity, protection of right and total participation) Act, 1995.
  • The annual income of the beneficiaries or their parents should be under the BPL.
  • District Medical Board Issued certificate of disability.
  • He/she is not an employee of central/state government/public undertaking of central or state government/institutions getting aid from central or state government.
  • People can avail this scheme along with other pension scheme implemented in the state.
  • Applicant should be a citizen of India

  • As per the age limit prescribed by the central government scheme.
  • Age limit for state level scheme will be notified by respective authorities.
