Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To get No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Driver License in Jharkhand the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.

3. Application form can be downloaded using the following link: Application forms
   
4. Apply in writing in a white A4 paper
   
5. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying by reading through the eligibility criteria that has been listed out under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
   
6. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Document” section of this page.
   
7. Present the completed application forms in one of the counter along with required documents. Pay fess as advised by the counter staff (mostly there won’t be no fees required for this) where the officials would start processing your application.
   
8. Authorities will process the request – If all the details and supporting documents are satisfactory, NOC will be issued
   
   

Apply Online - Jharkhand Apply for No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Driver License online with Images

1. First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online.
   
2. In order to apply for NOC online, please follow the link Online Portal link
   
3. Select “Jharkhand” in the drop down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”
   
4. In the next window, please click “Apply Online” to select “Services on Driving License” option
   
5. In the new screen select “Jharkhand” from drop down menu and please hit “Continue”
   
6. Please select / enter appropriate option and fill in information prompted for, then click “Proceed” to get the new page to apply online by filling the details prompted and upload required documents to process the application further.
   
7. Once all the required actions are done, please take printout of Acknowledgement

2. Passport size photographs-4 copies.
   
3. Valid Driver License
   
4. Disability details if in case of disable person applying (Disability certificate / card)
   
5. In case of applicant age above 50 years
   
   • Proof of age
     
6. Proof of New Address (In case of address change – any one of the following)
   
   • Ration Card, Voter identity card, Pay slip issued by any office of the central government or a state government; Electricity bill, Telephone bill, House tax receipt showing the name of the name of the applicant
     
   • You can also use your Aadhar Card as proof of residence.
     
7. Proof of name change as issued by government gazette (In case of name change)

Need for the Document

• This NOC is required to renew, obtain afresh driving license, Change of name / address or if the applicant is disabled or above 50 years of age.
  
• A driving license is an official document that states, a person may operate one or more types of motorized vehicles, such as a motorcycle, car, truck, or a bus, on a public roadway.
  
• As the driving license is also considered as a main proof for an individual in many of the government related procedures, one need to make sure that his details are clear.
  
• Driving without Driving license is an offense. Incumbent has to pay penalty
