Procedure

If your driver license is valid, you can apply for driver license extract.

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for a driving license extract in Jharkhand the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which his area belongs to.

3. Application form can be downloaded using the following link: Application forms
   
4. Apply in writing on a white A4 paper size paper by affixing prescribed stamp on the top right corner of your requisition letter
   
5. Also make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application
   
6. The applicant should make sure they are eligible for applying
   
7. Present the completed application forms and documents in one of the counter and pay appropriate fees.
   
8. The officials would start processing your application to issue the extract
   
   

Apply Online - Jharkhand Apply Driver license Extract online with Images

1. First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online.
   
2. In order to apply for online, please follow the link : online portal
3. Please select "Online Services" from the menu and click on "Driver License Related Services".
4. You will be taken to a new screen where you have to select “Jharkhand” in the drop down menu against “Please select the State from where the service is to be taken”.
5. In the next window, please click “Apply online” to select “Services on Driving License” option
   
6. The following screen gives you the general information to apply. Here please select “Jharkhand” from drop down menu and hit “Continue” to get the next screen. Here, Please enter / select appropriate option and click “proceed” to get the new page to apply online by filling the prompted details and click “submit” at the bottom of the form to process the application.
   
7. Please take printout of Acknowledgement
   
   

Apply through Centres:

1. To Apply for driver license extract in Jharkhand, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the card.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.
