Apply Online:
- To Pay Traffic Challan in India, the applicant has to use the following link.
- The applicant has to select the option first to know the challan details (challan number/vehicle number/DL number).
- After entering the required details the applicant has to enter the captcha and click on “Get Details”.
- Once the details appeared, the applicant will know the payment details.
- To pay the amount and for selecting the mode of payment, the applicant has to click the “Pay Now” button.
- The applicant has to make the payment as mentioned through a debit/ credit card.
- After completing the payment process the applicant will get an acknowledgment message regarding payment.
- This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.
Apply In-Person:
- To Pay Traffic Challan in India, the applicant has to visit the local Traffic police station.
- The applicant has to approach the concerned officer for challan-related information, the applicant needs to provide his/her vehicle number and challan number (if available)
- The concerned officer will check for any pending dues.
- Once the concerned officer informed the payment details.
- The applicant has to pay the fee according to that, the applicant can make a payment through a debit/credit/ cash.
- After receiving the payment, the concerned authority will provide an acknowledgment receipt.
- This entire process can be completed within a few minutes or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply Through App
- The applicant has to download the Paytm app from the Google play store or the following link
- The applicant has to complete the registration process and add-on account process.
- The applicant has to select the location and enter the challan number and vehicle number.
- Then the applicant has to click on the “Proceed” button.
- Or the applicant can use the OR Code in the given challan for the payment.
- Once the details appeared, the applicant will know the payment details.
- The applicant has to select the payment mode Debit Card, Credit Card, Paytm Wallet, Paytm Postpaid, UPI & Net Banking.
- The applicant has to complete the payment process.
- This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.
