Procedure

Apply Online:

1. To Pay Traffic Challan in India, the applicant has to use the following link.
2. The applicant has to select the option first to know the challan details (challan number/vehicle number/DL number).
3. After entering the required details the applicant has to enter the captcha and click on “Get Details”.
4. Once the details appeared, the applicant will know the payment details.
5. To pay the amount and for selecting the mode of payment, the applicant has to click the “Pay Now” button.
6. The applicant has to make the payment as mentioned through a debit/ credit card.
7. After completing the payment process the applicant will get an acknowledgment message regarding payment.
8. This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.

Apply In-Person:

1. To Pay Traffic Challan in India, the applicant has to visit the local Traffic police station.
2. The applicant has to approach the concerned officer for challan-related information, the applicant needs to provide his/her vehicle number and challan number (if available)
3. The concerned officer will check for any pending dues.
4. Once the concerned officer informed the payment details.
5. The applicant has to pay the fee according to that, the applicant can make a payment through a debit/credit/ cash.
6. After receiving the payment, the concerned authority will provide an acknowledgment receipt.
7. This entire process can be completed within a few minutes or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply Through App

1. The applicant has to download the Paytm app from the Google play store or the following link
2. The applicant has to complete the registration process and add-on account process.
3. The applicant has to select the location and enter the challan number and vehicle number.
4. Then the applicant has to click on the “Proceed” button.
5. Or the applicant can use the OR Code in the given challan for the payment.
6. Once the details appeared, the applicant will know the payment details.
7. The applicant has to select the payment mode Debit Card, Credit Card, Paytm Wallet, Paytm Postpaid, UPI & Net Banking.
8. The applicant has to complete the payment process.
9. This entire process can be completed within a few minutes.
