Jammu and Kashmir - Online Obtain Hazardous Waste License or Permit
- Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Obtaining hazardous waste license or permit
- Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
- Step 3 : To register, please click “New Industry/HCF Registration” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 4 : Complete the first section with valid information and click “Occupier Details” section highlighted in RED.
- Step 5 : Now complete “Occupier Details” section with valid information and click “Save” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 6 : After successful registration, click “Home” menu at the left corner of the screen which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 7 : Now choose “Industry Login” option. Then enter your user ID and password in the textbox. Enter the captcha and click “Login” tab. Refer the below image where the option is highlighted in RED.
- Step 8 : Now you have to reset your password. Please set a new password and click “update” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 9 :Again do login by choosing “Industry Login” option. Then enter your user ID and new password in the textbox. Enter the captcha and click “Login” tab. Refer the below image where the option is highlighted in RED.
- Step 10 : Now click on “Apply For HWM” menu at the left side of the page. Refer the below image where the option is highlighted in RED.
- Step 11 : Complete “General Details” section with valid information. Choose the authorization as applicable and choose “Completed” option which is highlighted in RED. Then click “Save” tab highlighted in RED.
- Step 12 : Click on the “Fee” section. Then click “Add” option. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.
- Step 13 : Enter the fee amount in the textbox and click “Add” tab. Refer the below image where the option is highlighted in RED.
- Step 14 : Choose “Completed” option. Then click “Save” tab highlighted in RED.
- Step 15 : Now click on "Hazardous Waste Generation Details" section which is highlighted in RED. Then click “Add” hyperlink highlighted in RED.
- Step 16 : Enter all the details and click "Add" tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.
- Step 17 : Choose “Completed” option. Then click “Save” tab highlighted in RED.
- Step 18 : To make payment through online, select “Offline” option and click “Proceed” tab highlighted in RED.
- Step 19 : Then attach the payment receipt using “Add” option highlighted in RED.

- Step 20 : Enter the details and click “Add” tab. Upload the documents and click “Attach” tab. Refer the below image where the options are highlighted in RED.

- Step 21 : Then click “Proceed” tab highlighted in RED.

- Step 22 : Now the details will be added successfully. Please note the application number. Keep it safe for future reference.

- Step 23 : After successful submission of the application, it will be taken to the glance of District Environmental Engineer (DEE) for verification and further processes. If the DEE finds any mistake in the application or documents attached, it will be returned to the industry and the industry can find it in the “Completed Application” tab in the OCMMS module.
- Step 24 : And if the authorization has been sanctioned, the User can view and download the certificate by clicking on “View Authorization Certificate”.
