Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Hostel License in Jammu and Kashmir, the applicant has to approach the nearest municipal corporation in their area.
2. Get the application form from the executive officer.
3. Fill up the application form correctly without any mistakes.
4. please make sure you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form along with the required documents.
6. Pay the applicable fees as per the instruction.
7. If your application is accepted you will be notified via SMS.
8. You can approach the Jammu Municipal corporation to get the license.

1. To apply for Hostel License in Jammu and Kashmir, the applicant has to visit the official website of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
2. Use the following link to apply for Hostel License : Trade License
3. Click on the Trade license application form.
4. Fill up the Trade license application form correctly without any mistake
5. Submit the application form along with the required documents.
6. Pay the required amount of fees via Net banking or Debit Card.
7. After successful payment, you will receive a transaction number to the registered mobile number.
8. You can download the license using the transaction number.
