Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for subsidy is available in Agriculture Department, Jammu and Kashmir: contact link
2. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
3. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the form and attach the photocopies of the documents that are needed along with the application form before submitting.
4. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
5. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing an approval.
6. Approval will be provided within 2-3 weeks.
7. If the approval has not been given within 3 weeks, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

1. Application form for construction of Irrigation Well subsidy is available in the following - Link
2. Applicant has to fill in all the necessary details like – personal details, technical details (soil details), land details etc. in the form and click on the “Submit” button.
3. Applicant should make sure to upload digital copies of the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
5. If all of the above-mentioned procedures were followed by the applicant properly, the application form gets the approval from the concerned authority.
6. It takes around 2 weeks for the process to get over.
   

Apply through centres:

1. To apply subsidy for construction of irrigation well, the applicant has to visit the Nearest CSC centre – link
   • NOTE: Select the state, district name and block to view the nearest CSC centre address.
2. The applicant needs to carry the required documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. The office will do the changes in the online portal.
4. The applicant has to give all the information to the officer.
5. After the registration process gets completed, an acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
6. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. Once all the verification process gets completed, the applicant has to visit the office to get the updated card.
8. The processing time for this procedure is within one or two weeks, or it can intimate by the office while getting the acknowledgment slip.

Eligibility

Instructions

• Once after the process is over, the selected applicants are directed to start the work under the technical supervision of the department officials.
• After the completion of work in all respect 1/3rd cost of the irrigation, is handed over to the farmers as subsidy.
