Jammu and Kashmir - Add Qualification or Experience in Employment Exchange

Apply In-Person:

  1. To add/update qualification or work experience with your employment exchange profile, please go to the respective employment registration office where the employment card was obtained or the applicable office of your area (due to any changes/modification in administration).
  2. Contact details link please use the “Contact Us” option provided on the left part of the screen for contact details.
  3. Please visit the respective office and produce your original Employment card to the respective counter staff/operator. After verifying the validity and eligibility of the provided details, the counter staff/operator will issue you an application form or advice you to write an application on a plain A4 sheet.
  4. Complete the application form. Attach the required documents as per our “Required Documents” section of this page and submit it to the counter staff/operator.
  5. The counter staff/operator will process the application online (the process involves, online data entry of the submitted details, scanning and uploading of the submitted documents.). The concerned authority will cross verify the submitted copy of the documents with the original documents. Applicant should provide the originals for cross verification.
  6. Once the above steps are completed successfully, the details will be updated. The applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement. The applicant will also get a transaction number as text message on his/her registered mobile number.
  7. Once the updating is complete, this may reflect on the profile of the candidate as per the timeline advised by the counter staff/operator.


Apply Online:

  1. Please visit the state employment exchange website for online process Link
  2. In the given page, please click on the “Update Registration” option under “Services” on the left part of the screen.
  3. Here, please enter the registration ID at the given space against “Registration ID” and click the “Submit” button.
  4. The applicant will reach the respective screen to update the required details.
  5. Please follow the on-screen information to find the respective options to update the education as well as work experience details.
  6. Once the details are processed, then use the applicable button to update the information.
  7. Your details will be updated instantly. The respective employment exchange will validate your entry as per the norms.


Apply Online through National Career Service (NCS):

  1. Please use the following link to apply through NCS portal online portal link
  2. In the given page, please enter the login credentials as appropriate under the “Login” section provided on the right part of the screen and click the “Sign In” button.
  3. Once login, applicant will reach the home screen. Here, the “Profile Completeness” section will be provided. Please click on the “Update Profile” button to reach “View/Update NCS Profile” screen.
  4. Applicant shall use the “Experience” or “Education & Training” section as per requirement.
  5. Please follow the onscreen information and update the required details as appropriate. Once the required update is done, please use the applicable button to save your updates.

  • Documents pertaining to additional qualification (mark sheet/course completion certificate) in case of adding qualification
  • Documents pertaining to work experience (experience certificate) in case of adding qualification
  • Aadhaar card


Note:
  • Please take passport size photograph of the applicant (5 copies) to use it as per requirement.
  • If the above documents are to be supported by report of applicable authorities, please provide as required.
  • All original and copy of original with self-attestation as advised by respective authorities to be submitted as per requirement.
  • Apart from the above documents, authorities may ask to submit additional information or documents. Please provide them for processing.
