Apply Online

  1. To Upgrade or Add a Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) License to an existing Driver's License, the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. The applicant has to click the “Online Application”.
  3. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Register Now” button.
  4. The applicant has to enter the email address and click the “Submit” button.
  5. The applicant has to click the link and which is given in the email address.
  6. Enter all the registration details and click the “Create Account” button.
  7. Now the applicant has to log in with the email address and password and click the “Login” button.
  8. The applicant has to select the form from the menu list.
  9. Enter all the details in the application form.
  10. And upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  11. Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
  12. Once completed with all the details click the “Submit” button.
  13. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  14. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  15. Once your application is approved, you will be notified to collect your upgraded Driver's License with the PPV endorsement.
  16. This entire process can be completed within 15 - 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.



Apply In Person

  1. To Upgrade or Add a Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) License to an existing Driver's License, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Transport Authority link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
