Apply In-Person
- To apply for a replacement of a motor vehicle certificate of registration, you should submit your complete application to the Tax office where the certificate was issued.You can view TAJ’s (Tax office) contact details via this link: Link
- Upon noticing that you have lost your vehicle's certificate of registration, report the case to the nearest police station immediately and obtain the police report
- Obtain the application form for motor vehicle transaction from the Tax office or download it from their website:Link you can also download the form directly via this link:Link
- Complete the application form accordingly
- Prepare a note of the number of the license Registration Stickers and attach it to the police report including the rest of the supporting documents for your application
- Then go to the Tax Office where the initial certificate was issued and submit the complete application to the official at the service unit
- Pay the application fee for a substitute certificate at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt
- Submit the complete application to the Tax office official at the service desk for assessment
- The official will verify your application and the payment receipt and if the application is in order, your substituted motor vehicle certificate of registration will be prepared and issued to you
