Jamaica - Online Apply for National Housing Trust (NHT) Contribution Refund

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents to Apply for National Housing Trust Contribution Refund

Step 2 : To apply for the National Housing Trust Contribution Refund.Go to the NHT website:Apply Online.

Step 3 : Click on “Contributions Refunds” hypertext which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image on the right of the screen

Step 4 : Read the above information provided and click on the “I Agree” Box which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 5 : Now in the “Apply” Section you need to fill “Applicant Type” Information.

Step 6 : After filling “Applicant Type” details click on the “Continue” Button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 7 : Now you will be asked to fill “Personal &Contact Details”.Fill all the required details.

Step 8 : After filling “Personal &Contact Details” click on the “Continue” Button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 9 : It will ask whether you ever had a name change.If you have changed click “Yes” which is pointed out by a “Red” arrow and if not changed click “No” which is pointed out by a “Green” arrow in the below image.

Step 10 : If Yes it will ask some information regarding your name change enter all the information and click on the “Continue” Button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 11 : If No enter the required details and click on the “Continue” Button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 12 : Now you will taken to the “Employment History” enter the required information and click on the “Continue” Button which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 13 : Atlast Payments details will be shown select the preferred option and then click on the “Review” Button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 14 : Now “Review” Section will be opened to review your application form.Review your application form click on the “Confirm” which is highlighted in “Red” in the below image to Confirm you Application Form.

Step 15 : Now Application Receipt will be shown print a copy of the acknowledgement which will be generated for your records.Click on the “Print” Button which is highlighted in “Green” in the below image.

Step 16 : And Finally click on the “Print” Button which is highlighted in "Red" in the below image to Print your Application Form.

Step 17 : NHT will advise on the outcome of your application in about 10 days via a text message

Step 18 : If you were successful, collect the refund either through your bank or Jamaica National/Victoria Mutual Remittance Services (fees of $300 and $160 are charged, respectively, by both entities)
