  1. The organization in charge of clearing items and goods arriving in Jamaica is the Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA), please view the JCA’s contact details through this link:Link
  2. When goods have arrived in Jamaica, The Central Sorting Post Office will complete the Customs clearance of items on your behalf and forward the goods and any customs charges to the local post office based on your address
  3. Visit the local post office and submit the required supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below for verification,
  4. The documents will be verified if the goods have a Free on Board (FOB) value of US$50 or less, they will not be charged by the customs. But if the value is greater than the FOB, the customs charges will be calculated on the full value.
  5. If there are customs charges to pay, complete the payment at the post office and obtain the payment invoice
  6. Upon payment, the post office will release your goods and issue them to you. Note that if the goods are detained by Customs, a notice will be sent to you from the Post Office stating the reason for the detention of the good and what is required for the goods to be freed
