Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for the University of The West Indies (UWI) Financial Aid at the Mona Campus, you should go to the Office of Student Financing (OSF) at UWI. You can view the contact details of the Office of Student Financing through this link: Link
2. Obtain the application form for the financial Aid from the Mona campus website through this link:Link Note that there are three forms for financial aid i.e., Scholarships &Bursaries,General Financial Assistance, and Student Academic Enrichment Fund
3. Download the form for the aid you wish to apply for and complete all the sections of the form. For the scholarship and Bursaries, your referees must complete the referee's report/affidavit
4. Attach the required documents to the application form in a single file or envelope
5. Submit the complete application to the Office of Student Financing, UWI Mona Campus within the deadline for applications by placing the application in the OSF drop box located in the bursary customer service area (SAS)
6. The application will be processed and if approved, the financial aid funds will be disbursed to you through the OSF

Note that incomplete applications will not be processed

Instructions

• The referee form should be completed by the following persons: Senior members of the UWI academic and professional staff (e.g., Lecturer), Student Services and Development Managers, UWI Counsellors (Health Centre), Justices of the Peace, Ministers of Religion, High School Principals/Vice Principals/Guidance Counsellors. Note that no other reference will be accepted
• The Referees must know you for at least two (2) years and should be able to attest to the information provided by you.
• All referees must affix the official stamp of their office/department/organization. Justices of the Peace (JP’s) must affix their official seal provided by the Government.
