Procedure

How to Apply

1. Institutions that require assistance with completing projects related to health care delivery in Jamaica can apply for the National Health Fund (NHF) Grand by submitting the complete application for the grant to the NHF head office, please view the NHF contact details via this link: Link
2. Obtain the Grant request form for the NHF office or download it form their website: Link you can also download the form directly via this link: Link
3. Please read the form carefully and complete it as instructed, then write a cover letter addressed to the Chief Executive Officer of the NHF clearly clarifying the project summary you are applying the grant for and this letter should be signed by the head of the requesting organisation e.g., President, Regional Director
4. Then prepare the rest of the supporting documents and attach them to the complete application form and cover letter in a single file
5. Visit the NHF head office and submit your complete application NHF office at the service unit
6. The official will receive your application and forward to the necessary officials for approval
7. Then the NHF relevant authority will verify your application if it is complete and meet all the required standard for approval
8. If your application is complete it will be approved and you will be notified of the approval through a proper communication channel
9. The grant will then be processed and issued to you through cheque or wired into your account

1. Project Proposal template signed by the head of the organization, e.g., CEO, President
2. Completed Grant request Form
3. Project Proposal: Link
4. Supporting documents for the cost of the project, e.g., Quotation, pro forma invoices, summary of Bill of Quantities
5. Architectural designs or working drawings relevant to the stage of the project (11” x 17” paper size)
6. Specifications for any equipment to be purchased under the project
7. Evidence of any self-financing portion of the project, e.g., Bank statement or other forms of commitment
8. Approval letter or any other supporting documents from institutions providing counterpart funding
