Apply In-Person
- To apply for a Foreign Importer’s License of coffee from the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA), you should go to the JACRA office. please view JACRA’s contact details via this link:Link
- Obtain the application form from the JACRA office in Person or download it through this link:Link
- Read and complete the application accordingly and attach all the required documents to it As mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below
- Then visit the JACRA office and pay the application fees at the cashier and obtain the payment receipt.
- Submit the complete application to the JACRA office at the service desk
- The official will verify your application and if it is correct, you will be issued an acknowledgment receipt of your application
- Upon submitting your application, JACRA will assess your application and inform you if it is successful or if they require more details from you to complete the application
- If your application is complete and meets the required standards, you will be notified that processing of the application will begin. If not, you will be notified of the requirements to be satisfied for the application to be processed.
- The application will be processed and you will be issued with the Foreign importer’s license of coffee

- To apply for a Foreign importer’s license of Coffee using the online application form, visit the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority (JACRA) website:Link
- Once on the website, click on “RESOURCES” under the information bar to open the hyperlink and select “FORMS” to go to the forms page
- Scroll down to find “Local Importer’s Licence (Coffee)” and click on it to open the online form
- Read the information provided and prepare the required documents ready for upload
- Complete the online application form providing the required details. Remember to select “New” under the “Type of Application” section
- Once you have completed the form and uploaded all the required supporting documents, click on “SUBMIT FORM”
- Upon submitting your application, the JACRA will contact you to inform you if your application is successful or if they require more details from you to complete the application
- If your application is complete and meets the required standards, you will be notified that processing of the application will begin. If not, you will be notified of the requirements to be satisfied for the application to be processed.
- The application will be processed and you will be issued with the Foreign Importer’s License of coffee

- A list of the names and addresses of the persons or entities to which the regulated agricultural commodity will be supplied.

- A reference from two business associates
- A list of the names and qualifications of key personnel of the business (including the CEO/Manager and the Marketing Manager)
- Other documents (s) that may be required by the Authority.

- Issuing of the license is subject to the execution of a User Licence Agreement with Coffee Marks limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority
- The application should be well completed to avoid unnecessary delays, note that incomplete applications will not be accepted by JACRA
