Book an appointment
(i) During the on-going corona virus epidemic period, the Centre de GestionIntégrée de service(CGI) advises all applicant to make an appointment booking first, via QUIPUX website link link

(ii) Click on the far right side of your screen,Make appointment option.

(iii) You will be redirected to the next page, fill out all mandatory fields accurately {location, under formality select “carte grise” , CGI agency that you wish to fill your application with, date, time, email address, full name, phone number, identification document, document number)

(iv) Accept terms and conditions then click on “To send” tab.

(v) You will receive details of your appointment, indicating that it has been taken into account by the CGI DIGITAL.

(vi) Alternative you can call the CGI toll free number 1320 or (+225) 21006929 to make the booking appointment or for inquires.
File your applicant
(i) Visit the regional integrated Service Management Center (CGI) office, you had book an appointment with at the specific date and time.

(ii) Approach the Department of transportation service desk and express your interest, fill out the application form accurately.

(iii) Pick the control ticket service number and wait for your ticket number to be called.

(iv) Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) to the attending official for verification and processing.

(v) Payment the application fees at the in-house bank, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.

(vi) If the attending official is satisfied that all the conditions for filling the application are met you the will be issued with the updated ownership registration gray card within one day.

Required DocumentsEdit

A legible photocopy of the registration document (presentation of the original) marked "transferred" and the date of transfer marked in a legible and unalterable manner,
A legible photocopy of the valid identification document (natural person) of the purchaser of the vehicle.
If the purchaser is a legal person, a legible photocopy of the valid identification document (natural person) of their legal representative and a legible photocopy of the document appropriate to its legal status,
A legible photocopy of the identification document (natural person) of the owner of the vehicle. If the owner is a legal person, a legible photocopy of the document identification of its legal representative,
The original of the certificate of transfer of ownership (Assignment contract legalized by the authority competent)
If the registration card does not bear the name of the transferor:
- if the owner is deceased: death certificate of the owner, minutes of the council of Family, inheritance certificate designating the transferor as beneficiary, identification document of the beneficiary.
- if the owner is a legal person in liquidation: act of appointment of the liquidator, liquidation judgment, liquidator's identification document
A legible photocopy of the valid sticker and technical inspection certificate (presentation of the original),
The original of the gray card extract in case the gray card is not in the database data,
A sales authorization issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the transferor of the vehicle (if it is bonded]
An authorization for exemption from customs duties issued by the customs administration to the purchaser of the bonded vehicle;
A legible photocopy of the insurance certificate;
A photocopy of a CIE or SODECI invoice from the purchaser and the assignor or the certificate of residence.

EligibilityEdit

Anyone who wish to put a vehicle in their name after purchasing it from the original owner.

FeesEdit

Motorcycle: 10000fr CFA
Motor vehicle:

power less than 8hp = 20000fr CFA
power equal to 8hp and less than 11hp = 25000fr CFA
power equal to 12hp and less than 16hp = 25000fr CFA
power equal to 16hp and more = 30000fr CFA
Semi-trailer and trailer = 30000fr CFA

ValidityEdit

The Validity is valid forever unless future sale of the vehicle to a third party.
