Procedure

1. For companies based in Abidjan, applicants should Visit the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources (MIRAH), Department of Animal Nutrition and Management of the Pastoral Space (DNAGEP) office and for companies based outside Abidjan should visit the relevant prefecture office near you and express your interest.
2. Collect the registration request form from the registration/service desk, fill it accurately.
3. Pay the required processing fees at the cash counter, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
4. Submit the completed request form along with the supporting documents to the attending official for verification.
5. The Department of Veterinary Services (DSV), will dispatch an inspector to the facility premises for inspection to determine if good storage, distribution, safety equipment’s, ventilation, employees have the right working gear/knowledge etc.) Is practice.
6. A copy of the report finding will be given to the applicant and if any modification or upgrading is required, Corrective Action and Preventive Action Report (CAPA) report will be issued and you will be required rectify the problem.
7. Upon successful implementation of the CAPA, a follow-up inspection may be conducted by the inspection team to ascertain the effectiveness of the implementation (where applicable) and you will be issued with the Veterinary Inspection Certificate.
8. If the register/authorized official satisfied that all the conditions for filing the application are met you will be notified of the outcome by mail, phone or in person and issued with the renew Importer authorization certificate of animal feeds.
9. The list of approved applicant will then be gazetted by the Inter-ministerial Decrees annually.

Required Documents

• Handwritten request for the attention of the President of the Approval Commission - District of Abidjan).
• Valid Identity Certificate (Identity Card or Residence Card).
• Certificate of Location of the place of exercise (by the Town Hall of the municipality concerned).
• Certificate of inspection and against inspection with pulmonary radio of the manager.
• Certified copy of the License for the previous year.
• Copy of the Professional Card which is issued by the MIRAH during the first request.
• 4 Identity photos of the manager.
• Lists of employees.
• Employee inspection and monitoring certificate and pulmonary radio.
• File of the person in charge / manager of the company including all the documents mentioned above.
• Certificate of Non-Bankruptcy (Commercial Court of the place of residence).
• Certificate of Fiscal Regularity (Tax Service of your Municipality).
• Veterinary Inspection Certificate (Veterinary Inspection Service).
• The Receipt of Payment of fees relating to the application file to the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources.
