Apply In-Person
- The owner of the business or a representative of the business can request for a labour inspection by visiting the ministry of employment and social protection department labour office.
- Approach the service desk and express your interest, collect the request form, read through it carefully and fill it accurately.
- Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) for verification and processing.
- Pay the required application fees at the cash counter, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
- The labour office will schedule a date and time to inspect the requesting business and you will be notified either by mail or by phone or in person.
- On the schedule date and time an inspection will be conducted by the labour inspector and an assessment of the issued concern the business and employees will be noted and a copy of the report of the finding will be issued to the applicant and advice during inspections on how to rectify the problem.
- A follow up inspection will then be conduct again to the business/company to see if the problem(s) has been solved.
- If the authorized is satisfied that the all the conditions are meet you will be notified and issued with the labour inspectorate certificate.

- If all the requirements have been met, the certificate process shall be carried out in a period of two days of the receipt of the application.
