Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The owner of the business or a representative of the business can request for a labour inspection by visiting the ministry of employment and social protection department labour office.
2. Approach the service desk and express your interest, collect the request form, read through it carefully and fill it accurately.
3. Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) for verification and processing.
4. Pay the required application fees at the cash counter, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
5. The labour office will schedule a date and time to inspect the requesting business and you will be notified either by mail or by phone or in person.
6. On the schedule date and time an inspection will be conducted by the labour inspector and an assessment of the issued concern the business and employees will be noted and a copy of the report of the finding will be issued to the applicant and advice during inspections on how to rectify the problem.
7. A follow up inspection will then be conduct again to the business/company to see if the problem(s) has been solved.
8. If the authorized is satisfied that the all the conditions are meet you will be notified and issued with the labour inspectorate certificate.
