  • Applicant should book an appointment with the Centre de GestionIntégrée de service (CGI) and visit the CGI to file the application for the transport card first.
  1. Apply for the transport card
    • Book an appointment with the CGI
    (i) Due to the on-going corona virus epidemic, the Centre de GestionIntégrée de service(CGI) advises all applicant to make an appointment booking first, via QUIPUX website link link
    (ii) Click on the far right side of your screen, Make appointment option.
    (iii) You will be redirected to the next page, fill out all mandatory fields accurately {location, under formality select “carte de transport “, select the CGI agency that you wish to fill your application with, date, time, email address, full name, phone number, identification document, document number)
    (iv) Accept terms and conditions then click on “To send” tab.
    (v) You will receive details of your appointment, indicating that it has been taken into account by the CGI.
    (vi) Alternative you can call the CGI toll free number 1320 or (+225) 21006929 to make the booking appointment or for inquires.
    • File your applicant with the CGI
    (i) Visit the regional integrated Service Management Center (CGI) office, you had book an appointment with at the specific date and time.
    (ii) Approach the Department of transportation service desk and express your interest, fill out the application form accurately.
    (iii) Pick the control ticket service number and wait for your ticket number to be called.
    (iv) Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed under transport card below) to the attending official for verification and processing.
    (v) Payment the application fees at the in-house bank, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
    (vi) If the authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order, you will be issued with the card within 10 minutes.
  2. The applicant should then gather the supporting document listed under Public Transport Authorization Certificate (public CIRT) along with the transport card and visit the ministry of transport office.
  3. Approach the service desk and express your interest, you will be issued with an application form, read through it carefully and fill it accurately.
  4. Submit the completed form along with the supporting documents to the authoring officer for verification and processing.
  5. Pay the required application fees at the counter cash, upon which you will be issued with a receipt.
  6. If the authorized official is satisfied that all the documents are in order you will be notice of the approval and issued with thePublic Transport Authorization Certificate (public CIRT).

Required DocumentsEdit

a). The Public Transport Authorization Certificate (public CIRT) Composition of the file:

  1. A sworn statement, original specifying that the road transport activity is mainly considered
  2. A legible photocopy upon presentation of the original commercial register and movable credit marked "M", the commercial purpose of which specifies that road transport is the main activity, the exercise of which is in accordance with article 5 of decree n ° 2015-269 of April 22, 2015
  3. A legible photocopy of the identification document attesting to the age of majority (21 years old)
  4. A certificate of residence of the manager (s) (in particular the representative whose name appears on the commercial register)
  5. An extract from the criminal record, sheet no. 3, dated less than 3 months ago by the manager (s) (in particular the representative whose name appears on the commercial register)
  6. A certificate of nationality of the manager (s) (in particular the representative whose name appears in the trade register)
  7. A legible photocopy upon presentation of the original of the certificate of incorporation into a single-member company or enterprise or any other company recognized as legal under Ivorian law
  8. The registered statutes of the road transport company indicating the head office and the company directors
  9. A certificate of original fiscal regularity from the road transport company
  10. A bank domiciliation certificate in the name of the road transport company
  11. A declaration certificate from its workers to the IPS-CNPS
  12. The plans of the installations
  13. Copies of title deeds or a rental contract for the head office; -a business plan / provisional accounts
  14. The list of secondary establishments available to the company and a copy of the property titles or rental contracts for the corresponding premises. Application fees: 25,000 FCFA


b). The transport card (linked to the vehicle assigned to public passenger transport) Composition of the file:

  1. A legible photocopy of the certificate of entry in the register of public transporters
  2. A legible photocopy of the administrative documents of the vehicle for own or hire purchase intended for transport
  3. The registration card marked “public use” if the registration card is in the single database of the Ministry of Transport or the registration card without the statement if the registration card is not in the said database
  4. The valid sticker and technical visit
  5. A valid insurance certificate
  6. An extract of the vehicle registration document in original if the registration document is not in the single database of the Ministry.
