IVORY COAST APPLICATION

1. Booking an appointment

   (i) Applicants should visit the SNEDAI website portal link, click on “sign in “and log in to book an appointment, if you don’t have an account click on” No account “to register.

   (ii) You will be redirected to the next page to register for an account, fill out the registration form accurately, accept terms and conditions then click on “Validate”

   (iii) Then click on “Apply for passport “you will be redirected to the next page to begin your application.

   (iv) Pre-enrolment details page will be displayed,

   (a) Enter your personal details {type room, part number, full names, size, date/country/place of birth, country of residence,profession,gender} then click on “following”

   (b) Parents details page will be displayed, enter your parents details {full names and date of births}“then click on “following”

   (c) Martial details page will be displayed, enter your spouse details {full names, date of birth, wedding location/date, profession}[if applicable}then click on “following”

   (d) Geographic page will be displayed, enter your {region, department, city, town, post box} then click on “following”

   (f) Administrative document page will be displayed {upload the required documents as per your application} then click on “Validate”

   (v) Meeting details page will be displayed;

   (a) Enter your Personal contact data{email, telephone} then click on “following”

   (b) Enrolment page will be displayed, enter the enrolment centre details you prefer “formulas, enrolment site, date and time of appointment “then click on “save a date”

   (vi) Confirmation details page will be displayed;

   • A summary application fee total page will the displayed, for confirmation, then click on “To confirm”

   (vii) Payment details page will be displayed;

   (a) You should choose your preferred payment method and then pay. The fee payable methods are under drop box i.e.{ electronic wallet via online method/bank via designated bank}

   (b) Kindly note that payments via online is at an addition fee for handling. Or visit the designated bank listed on the site with the receipt and make the payment upon which you will be issued with a proof of payment receipt

   (c) You should then print your filled application form and sign it, the completed form and three copies of the invoice are to present to the at the enrollment center.

2. Visit the enrolment centre

   (i) Applicants are advised to arrive at the specific passport enrolment centre,you had book an appointment with, about 15 minutes before the time of your appointment to go through security checks.

   (ii) You will be issued with a token number at the entrance, Sit and wait at the waiting area for your token number to be called.

   (iii) Submit the completed application form along with the supporting documents (listed below) to the attending officer for verification and processing.

   (iv) If the attending official is satisfied that all the documents are in order, your application will be accepted for filing.

   (v) If the content of your application does not match with the list of documents (missing documents), your application will not be accepted, leave the Application Centre to complete your application, and return another day, after booking another appointment.

   (vi) You then be required to proceed to the biometric booths. Your picture will be taken, and your fingerprints will be collected.

   (vii) You will then be issued with an acknowledgement slip/receipt.

   (viii) After lodging the application the passport will be ready for collectionin 3 working days after validation by the Air and Border Police in Côte d'Ivoire (S / DPAF).

3. Collect your passport

   (i) You will be notified of the outcome via the notification method you had opt for i.e. via email or SMS on the cell phone number you had provided.

   (ii) Visit the specific passport enrolment centre you had file the application with in person,along with the following documents and claim your passport.

• A proof of identification
• Acknowledgement slip/receipt

ABROAD APPLICATION

1. File your application

   (i) Applicant should obtain the application form from the diplomatic mission near you or download it via the SNEDAI website portal linkor download it via this link (Application form)

   (ii) Make the Payment of the application fees via online to Ecobank, (the SNEDI payment link): link

   (iii) Visit the embassy near you in person and submit the completed form along with the supporting documents (listed below) for verification and processing.

   (iv) Your biometric data will be taken on site and you will be issued with an acknowledgement slip.

   (v) Your application will be forward to ivory coast for verification and processing by the Air and Border Police in Côte d'Ivoire (S / DPAF)

   (vi) After lodging the application the passport will be ready for collection in 15 working days.

2. Collect your passport

   (i) You will be notified of the outcome via the notification method you had opt for i.e. via email or SMS on the cell phone number you had provided.

   (ii) Visit the embassy in person,along with the following documents and claim your passport.

• A proof of identification
• Acknowledgement slip/receipt

• Note: some embassy require applicants to book an appointment first before visiting the embassy, please contact the embassy or visit the embassy website and book an appointment, if available.

Need for the Document

• A passport is a document, issued by the national government. It certifies the identity and nationality of the holder for travel abroad. It contains information about the holder; like name, gender, date and place of birth. A biometric passport, contains an electronic "carrier" data. There is a chip hidden inside the passport in which the biometric data of the passport holder is stored.

• You can apply for, renew or replace your passport and pay for it online. You’ll have to print out a form at the end. You must sign and date the form, add any documents or photographs that are needed, and return it for processing.
