I. Apply in Israel

a. Apply in person

Applicant shall apply in person at the nearest police station.

Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.
Please talk to the authority for your requirement. As per authorities advice one has to submit the application along with documents.
Applicant should pay for the certificate as advised.
This application will be processed by respective department.
The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in-person upon notification or issued as per norms.

Note: Applicant shall appoint a representative in Israel to apply on their behalf in Israel. The representative should carry valid ID proof.

Only Israeli citizens can fill out the application form for a criminal information certificate, attach the required documents, and file the application online.
The application will be processed by the respective department.
After processing, applicant will get notification for receiving the certificate as per norms.

EligibilityEdit

Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
Age: 16 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 16 years.
The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.

Local Requests

Applicants should apply for an Israeli police certificate at the nearest police station. Applicants must complete application form #3019 and provide a photocopy of their passports first page as well as present their identity card or passport and their visa file number. A designated representative may apply for a police certificate on the applicants behalf with an authorization letter from the applicant (notarization is not necessary).
Applicants residing in Jerusalem (East or West) or in the Golan Heights should apply for an Israeli police certificate.

Non-Resident Requests

You may apply for a police certificate at the nearest Israeli embassy or consulate. Police certificates may be sent to either the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv or to the Israeli Embassy or consulate abroad.

Need for the DocumentEdit

The Certificate of Non-Criminal Record or police clearance certificate confirms whether you have a criminal record or not. Police Clearance Certificate is a document that is issued by the Israel National Police Service (INPS) Criminal Record Centre, certifying that the applicant has never partaken in any criminal activity that led to the involvement of the Israel Police Force, and is also required when a person applies for an immigration status to other countries.

A person who stayed in Israel for a period of time and is required by the government of another country or a foreign institution to provide certification of the lack of a criminal record / pending criminal case (certificate about criminal information), may submit an application to the Israel Police through the Israeli mission or the Israel Police website. Requests by means of the Police website is for Israeli citizens only. Under the law, the certificate is not given to the applicant but rather transferred to the official entity that requested it. The certificate is issued by the Israel Police.
