Procedure

1. Submit your request for a Certificate of Good Standing to the Companies Registry. You may send your requisition forms by emailing it to [email protected]. Certificates can also be ordered over the phone by calling +44 1624 689389.
2. You must pay for the certificate when you submit your request. If you require the certificate posting, or will not be paying on collection, payment can be made using a major credit or debit card. Note: American Express is not accepted.
3. On an average, requests are processed and the certificate is issued within 48 (business) hours.
   You can also have your certificate issued within 3 hours after receipt of request by paying extra (see fees below).

The office is closed until 11am on the first Wednesday of every month for staff training.

Eligibility

Provide eligibility criteria's for going through this procedure.

Fees

• Standard cost : 50 for each certificate
• Priority service: 100 per certificate

A 2% administration charge will be added to all payments by credit card (1 per Certificate, 2 per Certificate for priority service).

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
e.g. Birth Certificate Valid Forever

Other uses of the Document/Certificate

The Certificate of Good Standing contains these following information:

• company number
• company name
• incorporation / re-registration / continuance date
• registered office
• last annual return date (where one has been filed)
• registered agent
• The certificate will also state that:
  • the company is on the Register of Companies and is in good standing with the said office
  • there are no documents on the company files relating to winding up or dissolution of the company, or the appointment of a receiver in respect of any of its assets.
  • no proceedings to strike the name of the company off the Register of Companies have been instituted.
