Information which might helpEdit
- Some churches require copies of baptism certificates when planning for a wedding or first communion, and older baptismal certificates can be used for identification purposes in some circumstances.
- Baptism certificate is more important than marriage license or the apostolic letter naming the applicant his/her bishop. The reason is that the applicant’s baptismal certificate is his/her passport to eternal life. It documents his/her adoption into the family of God.
