Apply Online:

  1. To Transfer Voter Registration (Address, Constituency), the applicant has to make the application online via link
  2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “Don’t have an account, Register as a new user”.
  3. Enter the mobile number with the captcha and click the “Send OTP” button.
  4. Within the time limit enter the OTP which is received in the mobile number and click the “Verify OTP” button.
  5. Now enter the registering details and click the “Register” button.
  6. The applicant has to log in with email and password and click the “Login” button.
  7. The applicant has to click the “Forms” from the home page.
  8. Select “Form 8A” from the form list.
  9. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details and the changing address.
  10. Also, upload all the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  11. An acknowledgment number will be provided that can be used for checking the status.
  12. There is no fee for Transfer Voter registration.
  13. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will and update notifications be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  14. The New voter card will be sent by post or by visiting the office.
  15. This entire process can be completed within 2 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.


Apply In-Person:

  1. To Transfer Voter Registration (Address, Constituency), the applicant has to approach the nearest Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
  2. The applicant has to visit the office and carry all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer or it can be downloaded from the link
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  7. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  8. There is no fee for Transfer Voter registration.
  9. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will and update notifications be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  10. The New voter card will be sent by post or by visiting the office.
  11. This entire process can be completed within 2 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
