Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Registering Trade mark or Brand name
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In this login page, if you have the valid credentials to make login then enter them and click “Login” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image. If you are a new user, then click “New User? Sign Up” option which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image.

Step 4 : If you click “New User? Sign Up” option then you will be taken to the page where you can find the steps for registration. Read them carefully and click “Proceed for Registration” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Now in this page you can register yourself by selecting the “Type of Applicant” from the drop down menu. Also you have to enter the code in the textbox and click “Process” tab. If you are not aware of the code then click “Search” hyperlink which is next to the “Process” tab highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : In the new screen, you have to add the digital signature to register trade mark. Click on the “Add Digital Signature” tab in the “Digital Signature” section. Also complete the details in the “User Detail” and “Fields Detail” section and click “Register” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 7 : If you are a registered user, then make login and proceed the registration process by following the screen instructions.
Step 8 : As a final phase of process, user shall pay online by reaching the payment gateway.
Step 9 : In the payment gateway page, please select the type of payment(Credit / Debit / Net Banking) and provide required details at prompted places and hit make payment to reach the successive page.
Step 10 : User should follow the screen prompt for the payment mode selected to complete online payment transaction.
Step 11 : Once the payment is accepted, user will get an acknowledgement receipt. Please keep it saved or printed for future reference.
Step 12 : After successful completion of this process, user will be allotted with the “Trade Mark / Application Number” to track the status of the application.
