ProcedureEdit

  1. The registered owner should appear in person to apply for NOC where the vehicle is registered with required documents.
  2. Then registering authority will address a letter to Police authority and registering authority will obtain a report as to whether the vehicle is theft or involved in criminal case. and also remarks of different sections of the office will be obtained.
  3. If no dues are outstanding / DSA cases are not pending and on receipt of clearance from the Police Authorities, No Objection Certificate will be issued.

  2. Aadhaar Card
  3. Insurance Certificate.
  4. Tax Card if any.
  5. Permit and Fitness Certificate (in case of transport vehicle).
  6. Emission Test Certificate .
  7. Consent of Financier on CMV form 28 along with letter if vehicle is covered by Hypothecation/HPA/Lease agreement
  8. Pencil print of the chassis number has to affixed on each form of CMV 28.

InstructionsEdit

If the owner desires to remove or sell his vehicle, shall file an application in form 28 in quadruplicate (4 copies) for issue of No Objection Certificate to the registering authority along with the following documents:

  1. Registration Certificate,
  2. Insurance Certificate.
  3. Tax Card if any.
  4. Permit and Fitness Certificate (in case of transport vehicle).
  5. Emission Test Certificate .
  6. Consent of Financier on CMV form 28 along with letter if vehicle is covered by Hypothecation/HPA/Lease agreement
  7. Pencil print of the chassis number has to affixed on each form of CMV 28.

Need for the DocumentEdit

N O C - No Objection Certificate is a must for re - registration while selling the vehicle. You must get it from the local R.T.O where you got registered your vehicle.
