India - Apply for Verification of Petrol Pumps (Dispensing Units)

Apply In-Person

  1. A person desirous of applying for Verification of Petrol Pumps must visit the Legal Metrology office.
  2. The application form is available at the Metrology office.
  3. The application form should be filled and submitted to the officer in charge in the Metrology department.
  4. Attach the documents mentioned in the "Required Documents" section of this page.
  5. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.
  6. The Controller will approve the certificate, if the applicant is eligible.
  7. After the verification, the certificate will be issued by the Metrology office.
  8. The applicant can collect the certificate from the Metrology office within the stipulated processing period of time.
